Celebrating Progress: Year-End Singing River Trail Highlights

As we reflect on 2024, we are thankful for the support of the SRT Community across North Alabama. We wish all of you health and happiness during this holiday season!

Richard Martin Trail

Do you know the story behind the Richard Martin Trail? Learn how Richard Martin’s vision laid the foundation for this North Alabama gem. SRT is proud to help connect it to a growing network of trails across the region. SoulGrown shares the history and impact of Martin’s work in trail building in a new article.

Find a Trail

Your next outdoor adventure is just a click away! Our updated Find a Trail page makes it easy to explore SRT locations with links to maps and AllTrails pages.

This is something so many of you have asked for and we are excited to show you exactly where you can explore the Singing River Trail. Grab your gear, hit the trails, and don’t forget to tag us in your photos using #singingrivertrail.

Maintaining Momentum

This month, the SRT team and board gathered at the beautiful ACES – Graham Farm & Nature Center. It’s always inspiring to be at the table with leaders in our community who are passionate about this regional project and connecting North Alabama, through trail or collaboration. A beautiful day, a beautiful location, and a great discussion about the exciting things happening on the Singing River Trail! Learn more about Graham Farm & Nature Center.

Connecting People to Trails

We want to wish our Bonner Leadership Program Intern, Savannah Woodall, the very best as she nears graduation from Athens State University and continues her next chapter. Savannah has been with SRT for just over a year and has been involved in marketing, SRT events, and LaunchTank. But we’re not losing her! Savannah will chair our Ambassador program and continue to share her love of SRT.
