Phase Zero Grant

Make a difference in your community with a Phase Zero Grant from the Singing River Trail.

What is the Phase Zero Grant?

Phase Zero came to life through the realization that even the smallest projects can make a big difference in North Alabama. Our goal is to turn small visions into reality by providing a platform for our communities to secure funds for modest, yet impactful projects that create connection and appreciation for small towns.

We encourage you to explore the opportunity to make a difference in your community with the Phase Zero Grant from the Singing River Trail. This grant is designed to support projects that enhance our trail sections and get communities excited for future developments. Grants typically range from $250 to $5,000.

Eligible Projects

We want to help you add to the uniqueness of your town. The Phase Zero Grant is available for various project types including:

  • Public art
  • Literacy initiatives
  • Health & wellness programs
  • Improvements to public spaces along the Singing River Trail

Projects should aim to be completed within a year, with a brief follow-up report requested within three months of completion.
