When is the Singing River Trail going to start being, as in on the ground, and not just being talked about, as in planning and design?

Exciting news is on the horizon for the Singing River Trail (SRT) as we proudly unveil our completed Western Route Master Plan, depicting our path forward from Decatur to the Shoals.

The Singing River Trail is excited to announce that United States Representative Robert Aderholt has invested $5.7 million in federal money to support the design, planning, and construction of new SRT sections in Courtland, Town Creek, and Leighton.

The Singing River Trail is gaining more and more support, and we are excited to share the latest news with you. Hold on tight because this update is jam-packed with exciting developments and incredible contributions that are propelling the Singing River Trail towards an even brighter future.
